Bootleg Radio . . . a true story

MEMORIES

What happened to the bootleggers? They were caught, pleaded "No Contest," were fined, and went on with their lives.
A few chose career paths that would result in successful broadcasting careers. LA called to others. If you have viewed live music concerts on network television, you may have heard the Emmy Award winning audio skills of a former bootlegger.

Like any group of alumni, those that set the music free get together and celebrate RFN, Radio Free Naptown.
On Saint Patrick's Day, they raise a glass and toast to the memories.

From time to time, WRFN Rises From The Underground streaming audio from our Carmel Studio. Go to RFN Streaming Services for dates, links, and the Playing Now And Last Played list.

Larger versions of our website images plus additional photos of WRFN and earlier stations are on Radio Free Naptown Flickr. Browse the various albums to see a photo history of Radio Free Naptown. Check back often as our Flickr site is a work in progress.
